What it is

The Ravenheat 0002SCA11030/0 is a domestic hot water (DHW) plate heat exchanger used in Ravenheat CSI and HE series gas boilers. It transfers heat from the primary circuit to the domestic hot water supply, with two pipe connections on each side of the plate stack. It is a serviceable component and is replaced as a complete unit.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • Domestic hot water runs hot then cold, or fluctuates during draw-off
  • Reduced hot water flow rate or lower temperature than the setpoint
  • Scale or debris blocking the plate channels, causing poor heat transfer
  • Water weeping from the plate pack or at the pipe connections
