What it is
The Nuway G04004C is an oil pressure gauge reading 0-300 PSI, supplied with a 50mm diameter dial and a 1/8 BSP connection. It is used on oil burners to indicate pump and nozzle line pressure, allowing the setting to be checked and adjusted during commissioning and servicing.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The needle does not return to zero when pressure is released
- The reading is erratic, sticking or drifting when the burner is running
- Moisture, oil or condensation is visible behind the lens
- The case or lens is cracked or the dial face is unreadable
- Oil weeps from the threaded connection or the gauge body
