What it is
The BG FS2-01 is a fluorescent starter intended for fluorescent lamps rated between 4W and 22W. Fitted in the starter holder of a switch-start luminaire, it provides the initial ignition sequence that brings the tube into operation. It is a consumable electrical component rather than an appliance-specific spare.
Before you order
- Confirm the fluorescent lamp being served falls within the 4W to 22W range stated for this starter.
- Check the luminaire has a starter holder and that the existing starter is removed and compared against this one.
- Verify the starter holder type in the fitting accepts this starter body before ordering.
