The Vaillant 0020030797 is an Eco Level condensate pump supplied as a spare for Vaillant condensing boilers. In a condensing appliance the flue gases give up heat and produce acidic condensate, which collects in a trap and must be drained away. Where gravity drainage is not practical, this pump lifts that condensate to a suitable discharge point.

The unit is a direct replacement item for the Eco Level pump position on the relevant Vaillant models. It is a mechanical and electrical component, so it should be fitted by someone competent to work on boiler internals.
